My Second Haircut
Below are some pictures of my brother Paul. He smiles a lot.
Four Papayas
Two months later, the medium Papaya, which was mine, suddenly turned bright yellow. I asked to pick it for a whole week, and eventually Momma and Daddy gave in. It was very ripe and delicious!

Visiting Grandma Vicki
My family was so busy that they postponed my second birthday party until we went to visit Grandma Vicki on the east coast. Aunt Sue and Uncle Tom invited us over and I got to eat a cup cake, which I hadn't tasted since my first birthday. I tried to blow out the two candles, but nearly burned off my hair! So Mom and Sue had to help me.

Tom also heated the pool for me, so I went for a swim with Daddy. I loved to jump in, again and again.

I got many nice birthday gifts. One of my favorites is the pounding bench that Svanhild and Kalle sent me from Norway. I just love to pound it, as you can see in the little video that my dad made.
I had a great time visiting Grandma Vicki and Luci. My favorite activity was to blow bubbles - BIG bubbles - in her garden. I also liked to try on Grandma's shoes, and to sit at her kitchen table and make drawings in the morning.

I also went to the park with Grandpa Gary, where I blew more big bubbles. I think Grandpa was impressed.

And I went to visit Vicki's friends Rae and Bud, who let me jump on a trampoline and feed crackers to goats.

What a great trip - I had a blast!

Hi there!
I haven't been keeping up with my blog lately. But today is a special occasion...
Happy Birthday, Uncle Hallvard!
When Bestemor Grete and Uncle Asbjørn were visiting, they planted lots of plants and flowers in our backyard, and now they're really growing fast. I love to water them every day. Look at those zucchinis flowering!
My Mommy also built me a sandbox in the backyard, where I love to play. We have it covered with blue plastic so that Georgia Cat doesn't poop in there. And sometimes we fill up the plastic with water, and I splash around and water the plants.
Some big news this week: I figured out how to turn on and off the light in my room. I'm just barely tall enough to reach that switch. I also figured out how to open the door to the hallway. Bye now!

yes and no

I'm growing up real fast. Recently I learned that I can answer questions by saying "yes" or "no". That's convenient, because it helps Mom and Dad understand me better. Because sometimes, when I just point and yell, they look confused. Do I want more of that bread over there? No. Oh, do I want more milk? Yes!
